The client-server architecture means

The workload of running the VisiPlan software
and maintaining the underlying data is shared
between two computers. Additionally your

The client-side consists of the VisiPlan
software and runs on the ubiquitous Microsoft
Windows operating system. VisiPlan is supported
on the most popular flavours of Windows used within
the financial services sector – Windows
98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP
Professional.
The server-side of VisiPlan refers
to the database platform. VisiPlan supports
the use of either Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or
its relative, Microsoft Database Engine (MSDE)
2.0 both of which are specialised to provide fast,
efficient and shared access to your data.
